  History

I was born in 1991 and live in Milton Keynes with my Mum, Dad and brother Stephen, I have a dog called Tuco.  I started gymnastics as a 4 year old at the Woughton Centre in Milton Keynes, training from 10.00am to 11.00am on Saturday mornings. My coach Helen Billingham said that I showed a lot of potential and would progress further if I went to a larger club.

I then moved to Lynx in October 1996, and was immediately placed in their Junior Squad. I trained 3 times a week and was coached by Lucy Webster and Debbie. When I was 7, I was then coached by Heather Adams-Downie. I then moved into Chris Adams and Nikki Adams's group where I stayed until I retired. Before I gave up I was training  6 days per week and a  total of 26 hours at Lynx Aylesbury Gymnastic Club in their Elite Squad, and at Lilleshall National Sports Center Telford.

I trained 5-9 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and on a Wednesday I trained at Lilleshall National Sports Center from 12:30 -5 and on Sunday 9-12.

I had my first world class start test at the age of 9 and came 4th in December 2000, I was placed in the world class start squad, I then had a testing every 6 months where I continued to stay in the British squad. I gave up gymnastics when I was almost 13. I became a qualified coach at 14. (the minimum age to be able to take the exam.)
